ZenFone MAX Pro M1 is the all-new flagship device of ASUS. It is going to create fierce competition for Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro in the middle range segment.

Last year was not very successful for the Taiwanese company ASUS in India. However, with the launch of all new ZenFone MAX Pro M1, it is expected that the game is all about to change in their favor. This is an Indian-first smartphone and has been targeted to the budgeted users.
It is supposed that this smartphone will pose real challenges for Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro. ASUS is providing a host of specifications similar to the budget phone of Xiaomi. Some of the jaw-dropping features include the Snapdragon 636, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage space, along with a dual camera setup at the back panel.
ASUS is providing a 5000mAh battery exclusively. This smartphone is running on Android 8.1 Oreo (out of the box). According to reports, the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space will cost Rs 10,999. And, this smartphone will be available from May 3.
The buyers will be able to buy this smartphone exclusively from Flipkart. The variant with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage will be priced Rs 12,999. Apart from this, ASUS is also about the launch the variant with 6GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage space.
The technical specifications of this smartphone are as follows: 5.99 inches full HD display, with 18:9 ratio along with (2160×1080) IPS LCD panel. The rear camera of this smartphone sports a 13MP Omnivision 16880, along with a 5MP secondary camera, along with LED flash and 4K video recording. The front camera has 8MP and is capable of shooting 1080p videos. This smartphone sports a rear fingerprint sensor.
Both LTE and VoLTE are supported. One will get WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, along with Bluetooth 4.2. The 3.5mm headphone jack has been included too. At the present moment ASUS will be launching this smartphone in India, but according to sources, there are chances of global launches also.
