The renowned Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has launched the Mega 3 smartphone in India on December 7. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999 and started selling in India from December 7, 2016 exclusively on Amazon India. The biggest feature or highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 smartphone is that it is equipped with a triple-SIM slot and comes with VoLTE support. So, there is certainly a WOW factor involved in this device especially for those users who use multiple SIMs.
To start with the Coolpad Mega 3, this amazing smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1080 pixels) IPS display with a 269ppi pixel density that adds to its bright display. The device is also empowered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. The device is also paired with 2GB of RAM with the purpose of adding to its long list of great features. This particular smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage with the sure shot option of expanding the internal memory further via micro SD slot (up to 64GB).
The Coolpad Mega 3 runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, and packs a 3050mAh battery to keep it powered on. Coolpad claims that the battery can last up to 200 hours when this particular device is in standby mode. As for the optics, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an auto focus and f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera has 80.1 degree field of view.
The connectivity options on the Coolpad Mega 3 include the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, and triple-SIM slots for the convenience of the users. The dimensions are at 154.4×76.8×8.35mm and this particular model of smartphone weighs 170.5 grams. As far as the colors are concerned, the model have color variants of Gold, Grey, and White. This model of Smartphone also support OTG. This wonderful yet cost-effective device is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time, and 200 hours of standby time.
